Effectively Identifies Carious Dentin for Accurate Cavity Preparations
OraTech’s caries indicators contain D&C (drug and cosmetic) dyes in a glycol base that stain carious dentin red and dark green to black.
Applications:
- Identify caries in difficult-to-see locations such as under overhanging enamel of a Class I, II, or III preparation
- Red caries indicator is used as a fast, easy way to locate the root canal
- Green caries indicator is used to indicate non-mineral dentin for removal
